Murals of Palestine: A Story of Resistance and Pain

These three murals, painted in different locations across Dublin, tell a single tragic story: the devastation of Palestine under the invasion of Gaza. Each artwork is a fragment of a connected narrative, reflecting the pain, struggle, and loss of a family facing an ongoing genocide.

"I Am Just a Kid"
Before the invasion, Gaza had already been bombed and reduced to rubble. Inspired by Nadine Abdel-Taif’s emotional plea to the world, declaring that she is just a child, this mural portrays a girl lying in a pool of blood as a missile approaches.

"Fight for Freedom"
The girl’s brother, now alone, grips his slingshot, “Majra,” in a desperate act of resistance against the Goliath that oppresses him. He fights for Gaza, but another missile is already heading his way.

"The Invasion (Where is your Humanity?)"
The mother, now without her children, holds the body of her husband, killed by the IDF under the rubble of their home. The IDF targets her to complete the massacre, while the souls of her children attempt to comfort her in her despair.

Three murals. Three moments. A story that keeps repeating itself.
